Three men have been handed prison sentences for land corruption in Phuket, according to the Phuket Gazette.
The case was over a fraudulent title deed for a 6-rai plot of public land on Phuket’s Lae Phang Beach. The land was registered using a doctored Sor Kor 1 document which had already been registered to another plot.
The owner of the land conspired with the three defendants to illegally register the deed for a plot before selling it for a 330-million baht profit.
