The Australian Home Affairs Minister, Peter Dutton, has described the ordeal that white South African farmers are going through as “horrific circumstances”. White South African farmers are currently subjected to South African’s new land re-distribution policy where legal amendments will allow appropriation of farm lands without compensation to black South Africans.
A Thailand divorce agreement is a contract entered into by divorcing couples who can agree on important issues such as assets, child support and alimony.
Dutton has suggested that the white farmers migrate to Australia on in-country persecution visas with referrals from Australian residents. He further advocates for their migration saying they “work hard, they want to contribute” and not live a life based on welfare.
Australian media has covered stories where the rate of white South African farmers murdered is about one a week. He hopes that with cooperation from the South African government, a similar program can work with other governments around the world.
